The NFL picks season is upon us and with it comes the focus on Week 1 NFL Odds.  Many an "expert" hinges on the movement of NFL Picks lines to pinpoint where the action is going.  The fact that most NFL Picks bettors lose money there is some out there that believe going against the public is the way to achieve a profitable NFL Picks bet.  My position for the most part is that the lines move based on where the action is going as the job of the NFL Oddsmaker is to balance out the money so that the winner of the actual game has no revelance to them.  So, keeping that in mind, let's take a look at Week 1 NFL Odds movements:

The NFL Odds in the Cincinnati/Denver contest has moved from Cincinnati -2 to -3.5 for their opening day home game.

The Dallas/Tampa Bay line has had some big movement at the Cowboys went from a -3 to -4.5 road favorite.

NFL Oddmakers must like the fact that Minnesota has Favre under center as the NFL Picks Odds in the Minnesota/Cleveland has gone from Minnesota that moved the line from -2.5 to – 3.5 favorite.

Philadephia visits the Carolina Panthers and NFL Oddsmakers have this a tight one as it opened at a Pickem and now has Philadelphia listed as a -1 point favorite

Opening night sees the Tennessee Titans visit the Pittsburgh Steelers.  The Steelers opened as a 5-point favorite and currently sit at -5.5.

In the first game of the Monday Night double header the Buffalo Bills visit New England.  New England  has moved from -10 to -10.5 point favorite.

The other Monday Night game has the San Diego Chargers visiting the Oakland Raiders.  They have been some good movement in this number as San Diego started ast a 7-point favorite and has moved to a 9-point favorite.

The Detroit Lions named Matthew Stafford as their starter and that hasn't helped the number versus the New Orleans Saints as the Saints started as a -11 point favorite and sit as -13 currently.

The remaining NFL picks games that the Oddsmakers at SuperBook.com have yet to receive a lot of action thus far are:

They include the Miami Dolphins vs the Atlanta Falcons (opened: Falcons -4.5; current: -4); Baltimore Ravens vs the Kansas City Chiefs (opened: Ravens -8.5; current: off because of injury to Matt Cassel); Houston Texas vs New York Jets (opened: Texans -4; current: Texans -4.5); Jacksonville Jaguars vs Indianapolis Colts (opened: Colts -7; current: Colts -7); Arizona Cardinals vs San Francisco 49ers (opened: Cardinals -6.5; current: Cardinals -6.5); New York Giants vs Washington Redskins (opened: Giants -6; current: Giants -6.5); Seattle Seahawks vs St. Louis Rams (opened: Seahawks -7; current: Seahawks -7.5); Green Bay Packers vs Chicago Bears (opened: Packers -3; current: Packers -3.5).

Keep up to date on all the NFL Odds moves this week at SuperBook.com.
